"Virgin" actor Malil charged in stabbing

LOS ANGELES � A veteran worker best known for his performance in "The 40-Year-Old Virgin" was charged with attempted murder Tuesday after police aforementioned he stabbed his sometime girlfriend more than 20 times.

Shelley Malil, 43, of Los Angeles, was detained Monday nighttime as exited an Amtrak train in Oceanside, 35 miles second Earl of Guilford of San Diego, where he traveled to converge with his attorney before surrendering to police, according to a statement from Lt.
